About This Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Solar Installation Manager to oversee production, quality, and safety across multiple installation teams. This role is primarily office-based (80%), focusing on scheduling, resource allocation, and performance reviews, while also requiring field visits (20%) for site inspections and quality control. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless operations by preparing daily schedules, verifying completed work, and maintaining strict safety standards. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and solar installation expertise are essential. A company vehicle is provided for field duties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Manage end-to-end solar installation projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and train installation crews, providing guidance, performance feedback, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Quality Assurance: Perform site inspections to ensure installations meet company standards, customer expectations, and local codes/regulations.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA and company-specific safety practices and protocols on all job sites.
• Customer Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for customers during the installation process, addressing any concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
• Resource Management: Coordinate materials, equipment, and staffing needs to optimize project efficiency.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, safety inspections, and team performance.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, or Technical/trade school training in solar or electrical systems is preferred.
• 3-5 years in solar installation (residential/commercial)
• 2+ years in leadership (e.g., Foreman, Crew Lead, or Manager) supervising installation teams.
• NABCEP and OSHA 30 certifications are strongly preferred.
• Expertise in solar PV systems, electrical configurations, and construction best practices.
• Proficiency with project management software/tools
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and team management skills
• Excellent verbal/written communication
• Physically capable of outdoor work in all weather conditions, lifting 50+ lbs, and climbing ladders
