We are seeking a General Sales Manager- Power Generation to manage the sales activities of the Midwest area of W.W. Williams. Compensation is negotiable based on qualifications; a base salary up to $150,000 with a quarterly and annual performance bonus plan.

We are seeking a General Sales Manager- Power Generation to manage the sales activities of the Midwest area of W.W. Williams. Compensation is negotiable based on qualifications; a base salary up to $150,000 with a quarterly and annual performance bonus plan.
Job Duties:
- Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
- Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, pricing, and discount rates.
- Staffs, trains, and conducts performance evaluations to develop and control sales team as determined by the needs of the division.
- Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
- Assigns sales territory to sales representatives.
- Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy promoting sales.
- Represents company at trade show and industry association meetings to promote product.
- Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
- Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Consults with operational business units.
- Analyzes and controls expenditures of sales department to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
- Recommends and/or approves budget, and expenditures.
- Align activities with Project Management and Engineering teams
- Develop and maintain a positive and transparent relationship with key business partner personnel
Work Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated professional selling skills.
- Power Generation segment experience highly desired, Generator sales experience a plus
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Open to travel up to 40%
- Located in Michigan or Ohio, ideally in major metro area (Detroit, MI - Cleveland, OH, - Columbus, OH - Cincinnati, OH)
