As a Pipefitter at Polk Mechanical, you'll be hands-on in the field, installing and maintaining complex piping systems that drive our mechanical and HVAC projects. Whether you're just starting out or bringing years of experience, we have a path for your growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain piping systems using materials like brass, copper, plastic, and steel
• Interpret blueprints and plan pipe layouts to avoid conflicts with other trades
• Cut, bend, weld, solder, and assemble pipes using appropriate tools and methods
• Secure systems with hangers, clamps, and supports
• Assist with HVAC and refrigeration systems, including pumps, meters, and controls
• Perform system testing and inspections for leaks and functionality
• Maintain safety, precision, and high-quality workmanship on every job

What We're Looking For

• Pipefitting experience in the mechanical/HVAC industry (varies by level)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Knowledge of welding, soldering, and installation techniques
• Level 1 Apprentices: Minimum 1 year of hands-on training, eagerness to learn and grow
• Strong teamwork and a commitment to safety
