Roles and Responsibilities:

• Always promote safe behavior.
• To provide discipline-specific design and drafting services that meet the Project's, and applicable statutory and regulatory, requirements.
• To provide technical support to the team during design, engineering, and construction.
• Follow BIM and CAD standards.
• Aware / Knowledge Catalog, Part Builder, etc. for Civil 3D.
• Preparation and checking of all types of Piping or Layout design deliverables such as General.
• Arrangement Drawings, 3D Models in Civil 3D, and Material Take-Offs, etc.
• Interdisciplinary check of all Civil / Structural / Piping / Mechanical / Electrical.
• Coordination of all BIM-related activities to the discipline.
• Provide support for junior staff for all civil 3d-related originator task.
• Able to work flexible hours if needed.

Skills / Qualifications:

• BE / Diploma in Civil engineering discipline (or relevant subject).
• Civil 3D certificate from Autodesk or certified Institute.
• Having experience working on US projects is mandatory.
• Experience in Dry and Wet Utilities is necessary.
• Water and wastewater pipeline experience is mandatory.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
• Create, edit, and label alignments.
• Create, use, and edit Civil 3d labels. Create feature lines and surfaces.
• Manage, data reference, label, and interact with a civil 3d surface.
• Use Civil 3D to design plans and profiles of utilities, including using and creating pipe networks (pressure and gravity), editing and changing parts and styles, catch basin sizing/spacing and minimum cover, manhole sizing/spacing and minimum cover, hydrant spacing, and creating waterlines in profile with deflection and exaggeration, per jurisdictional requirements.
• Proficiency in the use of the latest CDE (common data environment) like: ProjectWise, BIM360, and ACC.
• Understanding and experience in handling Civil 3D data shortcuts within a CDE environment is necessary.
• Must be able to use Navisworks to check clash results, manage clash resolution.
• Experience in preparing 2D / 3D Drawings from AutoCAD (Min. 3 yrs. to 5 yrs.).
• Knowledge of Revit / Plant 3D Drawings will be an added advantage.
