Develop and deploy data science solutions to support geoscientific, reservoir engineering, and production analysis challenges Collaborate closely with geologists, geophysicists, petrophysicists, and reservoir engineers to translate domain problems into robust data science solutions Deliver training sessions and technical workshops, both internally and for clients, focused on data science tools and upstream workflows Assist with data quality, data preparation, and data governance efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards Support business development and pre-sales activities, contributing to solution design and technical proposals Bachelor's or master's degree in Petroleum engineering, Geophysics, Geology, or related Geoscience fields Strong foundation in Statistics and Mathematics Experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably supporting data-driven workflows or digital transformation projects Solid experience with Python (essential) Practical knowledge of key libraries and frameworks, including: Data handling and analysis: Pandas, NumPy Machine Learning: Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch Data visualization: Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, Dash Experience with time series forecasting for production and performance data Familiarity with Petrel, Techlog, or similar E&P domain tools Knowledge of industry data standards, such as OSDU, PPDM, and Energistics Proficiency in English (written and spoken) Experience with NLP, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, Transformers, or Generative AI is a plus
