Manage the warehousing activities and resources: Lead, direct, and manage the materials management organization; Manage the relationship with warehousing providers and define the service performance expected; Enforce safety, security, and environmental procedures and standards. Support staffing of the GeoUnit Materials Management Team and develop their competencies. Manage the GeoUnitwarehousing performance and inventory level: Ensure physical and cycle counting programs are completed to schedule and closed according to policy; Manage the inventory level (stock value, DSOH, and slow-moving indicators); Drive continuous improvement and the use of LEAN tools to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs; Monitor the performance of third-party warehousing providers if relevant (costs, service); Provide regular performance reports at GeoUnit level on materials management.
