SUMMARY:
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimal performance of industrial machinery and equipment. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtown and maintain production efficiency. Additionally, this position will assist with building maintenance as needed and be available for emergencies.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position primarily involves working inside a warehouse and manufacturing facility located in a "secure area" of the building. This position will be exposed to dust, noise, heat, and chemicals.
Individuals working in the "secure area" must follow the Company's Secure Area Dress Code and Security policies and procedures. All clothing must be free from metal, and no metal may be worn into the secure area of the building. Any metal inside or outside the body due to a medical condition must be visually inspected, or reasonable accommodations may be made.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional Saturday and overtime work may be required. This position will require emergency response outside of regular business hours.
TRAVEL: Minimal local travel with potential rare opportunities for domestic or international travel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment.
- Install and make necessary repairs to HVAC system.
- Recharge refrigerant in air-conditioning units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
- Follow a preventative maintenance schedule to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Document, maintain, and update maintenance activities, repairs, logs, and parts.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency situations promptly to minimize production interruptions.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify the root cause of problems.
- Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Perform equipment modifications and upgrades needed.
- Assist with building maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, and general repairs.
- Ensure the machinery is safe and well-maintained.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Report equipment status and any significant issues to management.
- Change light bulbs and ballasts.
- Regular attendance and compliance with the Company's handbook policies and procedures.

COMPETENCIES:
- Proficiency in ready and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge and experience in working with 3-phase electrical systems up to 480 volts.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to identify, analyze, evaluate, troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Ability to operate forklifts and aerial lifts.
- Able to work independently and as a team.
- Ability to adapt and adjust to change.
- Strong collaboration and verbal communication skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- This position may stand for long periods of time.
- Walk, climb, reach, twist, bend, squat, kneel, lay on the ground, grasp and pinch.
- Ability to work at heights of 30 feet in the air to work in the ceiling area of the building and on the roof.
- Ability to read small print.
- Lift up to 75 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
