As demand for sustainable heating grows, we're expanding our team to include a knowledgeable and customer-focused Sales Consultant - Heat Pumps.

Role Overview

As a Sales Consultant - Heat Pumps, you will be responsible for outbound calling clients, generating leads, providing expert advice on heat pump systems, and guiding customers through the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with merchants to understand their heating needs, building pipelines for future business.
• Provide expert consultation on air source and/or ground source heat pump solutions.
• Prepare and present accurate quotations and tailored proposals.
• Manage the sales process from lead to close, including follow-up and aftercare.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, government incentives, and industry regulations (e.g., Boiler Upgrade Scheme, RHI).
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless handover and customer satisfaction.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Requirements

Essential:

• Proven experience in customer service/ sales, ideally in renewable energy, HVAC, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of heat pump technology and its benefits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain technical information in a clear and engaging manner.
• Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of building services, energy efficiency, or sustainability desirable.
• Familiarity with CRM software
• Technical qualifications in plumbing, heating, or renewables are a plus.
