Part A: Job Specification

Job Purpose

  • Plan, coordinate, monitor inventory and administer materials and equipment spares associated with all offshore assets to ensure the availability to meet operation and maintenance requirements.


Job Context & Major Challenge(s) - I

  • Interface with multiple offshore assets handling queries with conflicting priorities and working under time pressure.
  • Expedite materials, in compliance with Company Policy and Procedure, within limited period notice.
  • Ensure availability of materials and spares ahead of time for planned maintenance or shutdowns activities, within an identified time frame.


Key Job Accountabilities - I

  • Maintain spares and material records and issue reports as required internally and externally to discipline supervisor/co-coordinator for review and discuss priorities with all parties to formulate a plan, review and report on work progress ensuring operational alignment.
  • Provide plans and create reservation for stock item, Direct Materials Requisitions/MDG request ahead of time to ensure the timely delivery of all materials related to shut down and minor projects activities offshore.
  • Compile detailed plans for offshore shutdowns including Minutes of Meetings, MS project, photos and any resources available to build the plan. Prepare lessoned learned /achievement reports after Shutdowns for further improvements and recommendations.
  • Participate in meetings with the Supply team to control and update all offshore materials movements and represent the Maintenance Department in meetings with management representatives of other ventures or contractor companies to discuss materials issues.
  • Apply knowledge of product and manufacturing process to provide details on the number of materials required to complete job orders, assuring materials are ordered with the appropriate specification and quality standards and documented to comply with company practices and received to meet offshore requirements.


Key Job Accountabilities - II

  • Expedite internal transfer of materials to meet production schedule and coordinates with Engineering Department for Quality Assurance/Quality Control of materials.
  • Review all documents provided by vendor to ensure they meet Company minimum requirements and undertake required follow up to close-out with vendors.
  • Co-ordinate for resolution of Material Discrepancy Report (MDR) item to manage the maintenance schedule.
  • Coordinate new valve testing or overall/turnaround of valves and organize mobilization of materials, tools and equipments to meet the shutdown/projects timeline.
  • Review the material requirement for work order in backlog category and arrange the availability of the material for timely completion of activities as stipulated in assigned work order.


Qualifications

  • Higher National Diploma (HND) in Operations discipline .


Knowledge and/or Experience - I

  • 5 years' equivalent experience in maintenance or operations preferably in the oil and gas industry, including experience in maintenance planning .
