Job Purpose

  • Advise and provide operational inputs to Project Management Team (PMT) & Offshore Start Up Division Manager (NFE) to ensure project deliverables meet Operations expectations in term of Safety, Operability, Reliability and Maintainability over the facility design life cycle.


Job Context & Major Challenge(s) - I

  • Be able to effectively influence project decisions based not only on CAPEX but considering OPEX for the project life cycle.
  • Addresses complex discipline specific and multi-discipline related problems and issues or special studies to ensure the overall success of the expansion projects.
  • Operating in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment where maintaining the team's focus on the common goals, integrity and value generation is critical to success.
  • Maintaining a high degree of flexibility in the performance of job function and adherence to professional engineering standards and practices.


Key Job Accountabilities - I

  • Oversee execution of the Operations deliverables for assigned QG project through daily interfaces with PMT, Operations Start-up Division Managers and the QG permanent organization.
  • Provide inputs to Offshore Start Up Division Manager (NFE) for all "operations" related issues (Project Philosophies, PIDs, C&E charts, ESD logic diagrams, Spare parts, First fill, Operator Training System, Pipeline Management System, Emergency Pipeline Repair Strategy, Hand-Over process and philosophies, SDMS Gate deliverables and Project Gate documents).
  • Maintain appropriate issues register to identify areas where improvements and/or recovery plans are required. Review findings and corrective actions required from internal and external readiness and/or peer reviews, identify parties responsible and monitor closure.
  • Provide monthly progress and stewardship reporting and identification of the key issues to Offshore Start up Division Manager (NFE).


Key Job Accountabilities - II

  • Facilitate lessons learned into the project design, identify areas for improvement and assists in providing and implementing best practices where applicable.
  • Ensure all lessons learned that are occurring in the construction, commissioning, start-up, and initial operations are being captured through management of the lesson learned database.
  • Manage the risk assessment of deliverables, audit findings and readiness reviews findings to identify the priorities required for each responsible party. Coordinates actions to address risk mitigation requirements associated with new technologies that will be used in expansion projects.
  • Facilitate Operations handover process and documentation from Project to Asset owner.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.


Knowledge and/or Experience - I

  • 10 years' experience in gas operations including 3 years in various project development activities, i.e. commissioning and start-up.
