We are currently looking for an experienced inside sales engineer you will be primarily responsible to maintain and develop customer loyalty through high levels of service to expand and strengthen the relationship. The Inside Sales Engineer identifies, offers and sells the best solution for the customer's application; provides commercial and technical support; always aiming to provide the highest standards of customer service in accordance with the Problem Solver principle.
As Inside Sales engineer you will be reporting to the ISE Manager to collaborate with key customers to respond optimally to leads and quote requests.

The Inside Sales Engineer identifies, offers and sells the best solution for the customer's application; provides commercial and technical support; always aiming to provide the highest standards of customer service in accordance with the Problem Solver principle.
As Inside Sales engineer you will be reporting to the ISE Manager to collaborate with key customers to respond optimally to leads and quote requests.
For this role, your responsibilities will be:
- Prequalify customer requests for quotation to ensure that a quote will meet the customers' application and operational needs and explore opportunities for additional products or services.
- Prepare and submit timely, technically accurate, and commercially verified quotations.
- Commit to On-Time Delivery of quotes submission
- Drive 1-1-X (One day to quote, one day to load and deliver as per customer request date) to exceed customers' expectations (meet and exceed Gold Standards)
- Address technical and commercial customer inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Maintain accurate and complete records in CRM, OCM, Oracle, and other tools as required.
- Provide product- and application information to external- and internal customers related to the quotes in progress.
- Communicate with manufacturing locations for queries regarding lead-time, specials, ETOs etc.
- Attend meetings with customers and/or field sales and sales meetings when needed
- Ensure that all technical information communicated is complete, accurate, and timely.
- -Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers by understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Support Order Execution to ensure that purchase orders are commercially and technically clean and accurate, and to resolve any technical-related issues that occur during the order cycle.
- -Improve operational efficiency in proposal submission by streamlining processes and ensuring minimal open orders (particularly those on hold due to customer care delays).
- Pro-active management of personal quote backlog in accordance with the agreed procedures.
- Get involved in process improvements, including identifying issues, bottlenecks, etc., and suggesting possible solutions in a timely manner
- Share standard processes and lessons learned with the team to improve collective performance.
- Conduct Due Diligence, Legal and Commercial compliance approval process in collaboration with the Checkpoint Champion
- Attend relevant technical and commercial training as required to maintain a high level of product and process knowledge, including new products as and when released.
- Stay updated on the latest product developments, upgrades, and industry standards.
- Adhere to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance and Quality Management procedures, as well as the Emerson Ethics policy, with respect to all business activities

For this role, you will need.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferably Electronics or Instrumentation.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an inside sales role
- Interpersonal communication skills
