This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Process Designer to join our Iraq Business Unit.

Wood has been awarded an Onshore Project to support an International Client operation by providing Brownfield Engineering & Design Services. The Vision of this Contract is to enhance the production & assets integrity across various locations. Team of Engineers and Designers based in Basra and Dubai supports execution of these projects. Projects under this contract focuses on Flare system revamps/re-ignition, Rehab of aging assets, BTEX emission control, Flare Gas Recovery & Replacement/upgrade of obsolete equipment, piping & systems.

Job Objectives:

• Unit test code thoroughly and confirm the results with peers
• Prepares complete information for design details, bill of materials, , that can be distributed to other design or draft personnel for completion
• Assist procurement personnel in procuring Discipline equipment, materials and services
• Design and develop business process maps and business requirements for assigned Grid Modernization projects in accordance with guidelines established by Business Process Management (BPM) methodology and governance
• Plan, schedule, facilitate and lead process development workshops and socialization meetings to review the process documentation with process owners, front-line managers, change management, and appropriate process stakeholders
• Facilitate the completion of process development deliverables and participate in quality assurance & control reviews of final process development deliverables
• Ensures proper documentation of risks, assumptions, issues and decisions related to the process/s and responsible for the escalation of key issues and or actions where applicable
• Works cross-functionally to support process development of complex assembly technologies on new products, and ensures efficient and effective transfer of products into production
• Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems by designing tools/fixtures that can work with assembly processes and equipment for a variety of operations in the assembly implantable medical devices
• Support org alignment activities for function - , provide change content in support of HR transition activities

Expected:

• 2 years of experience driving process innovation and improvements that enable efficient and faster delivery of designs
• 3 years of design and design feasibility experience with complex and innovative vehicle systems including alternative powertrain vehicles
• 3 years of design and design feasibility experience for complex vehicle upper bodies
• 3 years of experience using the Autodesk suite of surface and polygon modeling tools
• 3 years of experience utilizing Dassault Surface delivery, analysis and feasibility software for design delivery
• 3 years of experience using 2D design tools, including Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and Studio Paint, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
