Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead short-, medium-, and long-term mine planning for both underground and surface operations
- Develop optimized technical concepts for drilling, blasting, ventilation, loading, and hauling
- Evaluate and recommend mining methods, equipment, and processes based on cost-efficiency and technical feasibility
- Provide technical input for permitting, budgeting, and tender processes
- Act as the central point of contact for underground mining contractors
- Ensure strict compliance with European mining regulations and environmental standards
- Foster a strong safety culture and contribute to sustainability goals
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in underground mining (industrial minerals preferred)
- Strong mine planning software proficiency and solid MS Office skills
- Proven experience in contractor management and project coordination
- Knowledge of European mining legislation
- Fluent in English required, Germany fluency preferable.
