JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator (Local National) to join its Iraq business unit focusing on processing shipping orders, receipts, and other relevant documentation for a Major Onshore Brownfield Project in Basra, Iraq on 6/1 rotation.

This role is a full-time on-site role in Basra, Iraq with travel requirement.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  • Answering phones, taking messages, and managing communication for the warehouse team.
  • Processing shipping orders, receipts, and other relevant documentation.
  • Maintaining organized physical and digital filing systems for warehouse records.
  • Drafting correspondence, reports, and other formal documents.
  • Scheduling appointments, meetings, and other events related to warehouse operations.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Providing general administrative support to the warehouse manager or team.
  • Assisting with other duties as needed, such as greeting visitors, managing office supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety standards

Expected:

  • An understanding of warehouse processes, inventory systems, and shipping procedures is beneficial.
  • The ability to work autonomously when needed and to collaborate effectively with other warehouse staff.
