This individual will partner closely with the Union Relations Manager to support sitewide labor relations activities. Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all sitewide internal hourly movements, including placing open job roles, sending offer letters and managing contractual movements for the different unions on campus.
- Partner with the site HR leaders and Talent Acquisition on external recruiting process, including pipelining talent and assessing talent
- Partner closely with HR Ops to facilitate Workday updates as needed
- Own employee onboarding for hourly hires
- Partner with site HR Leaders on HR practices and utilize FLIGHT DECK tools to improve and streamline standard work.
- Assist with other HR special projects or initiatives across multiple client groups, as needed.
- Coordinate People Leader training under direction of site HR leaders and UR Manager
- Lead other site-wide HR projects as necessary, working across multiple client groups and multiple sites
- Provide employees and managers with an available point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues; escalates concerns beyond their scope to site HR leaders, directs employees to HR Central when it is the more appropriate resource
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in related area (or a high school graduate/GED or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant work experience)
- Minimum 5 years prior professional Human Resources work experience (can include internships)
