Overview:
We're looking for a skilled Quarry Truck Driver to join our team in Thornton, IL. You'll play a vital role in safely and efficiently transporting materials within our active quarry site. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate 45-65 ton haul trucks to move rock and raw materials on site
• Perform daily equipment inspections and routine preventative maintenance
• Follow site-specific safety procedures and reporting protocols
• Work in coordination with loaders, crushers, and site supervisors to maintain flow
• Operate other heavy equipment as needed (dozers, loaders, water trucks)

Qualifications:

• Experience operating heavy equipment preferred; quarry or construction background a plus
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and awareness of hazardous environments
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and navigate rough terrain
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation to and from the site

Schedule & Compensation:

• Hourly wage: $30-$33+, based on experience
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (some Saturday shifts during peak season)
