In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
The Continuous Improvement Manager is pivotal in driving transformational changes across Flow Controls Europe Enterprise. The topics to cover are Volume Growth, Profitability improvement or Customer Satisfaction.
This role integrates key Continuous Improvement programs, Perfect Execution methodologies, and best lean approaches into a cohesive, customer-focused strategy. The aim is to create value, reduce lead times, improve delivery performance, optimize costs, and support growth by reviewing and enhancing processes, people, and tools in identified areas with particular focus on enterprise, across departments, and across factories projects.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process Redesign: Design and implement top-down and bottom-up methodology to identify and prioritize high-impact improvement projects for the enterprise, X-departments, and X-factories.
• Project Execution and Sustainability: Lead identified Continuous Improvement programs, by driving and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful completion, facilitate smooth handovers to business owners, and ensure sustained improvements over time.
• Culture and Collaboration: Promote a Continuous Improvement culture by redefining lean tools and facilitating departmental/functional driven projects whenever necessary. Collaborate with department champions and leadership on Kaizen events, workshops, value stream mapping, change management, standardization, and data analysis.
• Performance Enhancement: Strengthen the President Performance Report (PPR) process through proactive analysis, continuous improvements, and implementing countermeasures to drive best in class service levels.
• Representation: Represent Flow Controls Europe during Emerson Europe PPR processes, share best practices, and join cross-business unit initiatives as requested.
The above activities can be performed in any step of the Flow Controls execution, from Sales to Engineering or Operations.

For This Role, You Will Need:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, IT, Supply Chain, or a related field is recommended.
• Certifications:
o Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certifications.
o Additional recognized certifications such as Certified Lean Practitioner, Kaizen Facilitator, or similar credentials are valued.
• Professional Experience: Demonstrated experience in lean and/or continuous improvement projects within a multinational organization, particularly in sectors like Automotive or others with solid Continuous Improvement cultures.
• Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process efficiency.
o Excellent communication skills to effectively engage and influence stakeholders.
o Proficiency in using Lean tools and methodologies such as 5S, PDCA, and others.
• Personal Traits:
o Highly adaptable, innovative, and curious.
o A proactive mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and deliver results.
• Travel: Flexibility for travel on a project-by-project basis.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Functional Expertise: Preferred experience in areas such as Detailing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Planning, Sales, and S&OP in Flow Controls Business or similar Multinational Companies.
