This Position reports to:
Production Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving its defined production goals by adhering to established systems and processes. On a daily basis, you will operate machines and equipment in the workshop. You will also demonstrate your technical expertise by reading and interpreting technical drawings and instructions for the assembly of products, systems, or panels.

Work model for this position: On-site

This role contributes to Motion Traction, Production in Turgi. Key stakeholders include Testing, Engineering, and Production Planning.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Assembling, equipping, and wiring components and devices according to order specifications
• Electronically documenting device data in the ERP system (SAP)
• Performing and documenting quality checks and ensuring compliance with guidelines
• Daily documentation of work and active participation in the continuous improvement process (CIP)

Qualifications for the role

• Skilled in automation and assembly work, with knowledge of relevant industry methods and standards
• At least 3 years of professional experience in automation/assembly and strong expertise in the field
• Good computer skills and experience with specialized software platforms
• Strong social and teamwork skills, with excellent communication abilities
• Completed vocational training in automation or assembly
• Confident communication skills in German; English is a plus
