This Position reports to:
Production Engineering Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: {onsite}

This role is contributing to the { SWG Manufacture Development } in { Xiamen China} . Main stakeholders are {ELDS} .
Based on theoretical knowledge, support the construction of factories for automation and smart manufacturing.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Standardization and optimization of workshop process documents
• Support for system optimization of existing robot workstations
• System integration and testing of manual riveting workstations
• Establish new robot workstations together with the intelligent manufacturing team, and participate in and lead the construction of new production lines

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• Education Background: Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Intelligent Manufacturing, etc.
• Position Knowledge/Skills: Familiar with intelligent manufacturing (automation); Proficient in using programming languages such as Python and C++
• Language Skills: Excellent English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
