Program Summary
KBR's Aviation & Ground Systems Directorate provides Systems Engineering & Integration support to the Army's Aviation and Ground soldiers with project based and full-time personnel support services. KBR sets the standard with a wide range of services including Government Engineering, Logistics, Business, and International focuses, while ensuring customer satisfaction and providing excellence in contract deliverables.
Job Summary
Prepare contractual agreements using current research methods and the knowledge of the requirement.
Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, ACC, and a legal team consisting of lawyers, paralegals, and office staff.
Ensure that the terms of the contractual agreements are written in language that is legally binding and in accordance with the desires of the PM.
Assist vendors to fulfill the terms of or to terminate contracts on mutually amicable terms.
Review contract terms and conditions to verify that they are in compliance with company policies and all applicable federal and state regulations.
Clearly explain contract terminology to clients and other interested parties in simple, everyday language.
Self-monitor progress according to the schedule of completion to submit drafts and documents in a timely manner.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Acquisition support that includes the development of acquisition strategies, market research, defining requirements, preparing solicitations, evaluating proposals, and assists in managing contracts.
- Collaborate with internal customers about acquisition strategy, contract types, contracting methods, sole source and competitive acquisition strategies and procedures.
- Perform cost/price analysis, and review contract language and policies.
- Assist in obtaining required reviews and/or approvals for contractual and acquisition documents.
- Perform analysis and review contracts for compliance with terms and conditions, resolution of problems/issues that arise during performance of contracts, reviewing invoices, and continuously reviewing contracts for accuracy of policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and develop the data requirements to include Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs) and Document Summary Lists (DSLs).
- Ensure contract packages comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), Army Federal Acquisition Regulation (AFARS), and other PM specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
- US Citizen
- Able to receive Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 3 years acquisition experience
- OTA and AMTC experience
- Preparation of Contract Requirement Packages for contracting actions as well as potentially new contract requirements
- Experience drafting PCO/KO letters
- Cradle to Grave contracting activities
- Experience using the Paperless Contracting Files (PCF) database
- Knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, and AFARS
- Good communication skills
- Good writing skills
