At GE Aerospace in Vandalia, we specialize in manufacturing and servicing world-class power generation and electrical control and distribution equipment for a variety of aerospace customers. Vandalia is also home to a product development lab where operators and engineers work together to invent the future of flight.
The Plant Fulfillment Leader is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the fulfillment processes within the manufacturing plant to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products to customers. In this role, you will manage production schedules, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives, with safety being the top priority.
Safety
Ensure all fulfillment activities comply with safety standards and regulations. Promote a culture of safety across the plant.
Quality
Collaborate with quality teams to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations. Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
Delivery
Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements. Monitor progress and resolve bottlenecks to ensure on-time delivery.
Cost
Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and delivery standards. Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes.

Job Description
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
- Optimize inventory and process improvements
- Manages a small to medium team of professionals
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events and process optimization projects
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report progress to plant leadership
- Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and operations teams to ensure alignment on fulfillment goals
- Maintain compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- H igh school diploma/GED
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, or leadership role
Additional Information
- This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens. GE will require proof of status.
- Ability and willingness to sit onsite at our Vandalia, OH facility 5 days per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Experience with GE Aerospace's FLIGHT DECK operating system or similar lean methodologies
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and requirements
- Six Sigma certification or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Kaizen, Standard Work)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
