LOCATION: This is a nationwide traveling position requiring frequent travel to project sites across the United States. Per diem will be provided.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Tepa Companies are seeking a Pipefitter to perform or assist in tasks related to welding such as taking accurate measurements, fit-up, preparation, repair, inspection, and post-weld preparation. Assists with general site work such as loading and unloading equipment and materials, site clean-up and preparation, mobilization, and demobilization to and from the job site, scaffolding erection, general construction tasks, and other duties as assigned.

Job Functions:
- Perform or assist with measurements, fit-up and preparation of welds
- Perform or assist with post weld cleanup, inspection, and repair
- Perform periodic inventories of welding equipment and consumable materials
- Communicate regularly with the Field Foreman regarding issues and concerns on the job site
- Lead welding teams in the absence of a project foreman
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- High School diploma or GED
- Must have at least 5 years of relevant pipe fitting experience
- Experience in the petroleum system construction/repair industry preferred
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and written instructions
- Must have a working knowledge of AWS, API, ANSI, and ASME codes and standards
- Must be able to troubleshoot and have a strong attention to detail
- Must have physical dexterity
- Must be able to follow verbal directions
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Must be willing to travel
- Must be able to pass a background check required to access US military installations
- Must have a valid driver's license
