Job Summary:

KBR is seeking a Field Service Representative, Supervisor to support our Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) efforts in Crane, Indiana. This role blends deep subject matter expertise in military ground vehicles with day-to-day team leadership, administrative oversight, and a strong focus on recordkeeping and operational excellence.

Program Summary:

Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) is a crucial element within the operations of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) and Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA).

NSWC is a vital shore command of the U.S. Navy specializing in three key areas: Expeditionary Warfare, Strategic Missions, and Electronic Warfare. The application of CBM+ within NSWC Crane helps ensure the reliability and availability of the complex military systems they support, including design, development, and sustainment.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of field service representatives and ground vehicle technicians, ensuring performance, accountability, and a positive team dynamic.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs, technical documentation, schedules, and performance records to support accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Oversee the administrative side of field operations, including timekeeping, travel coordination, work orders, and progress tracking.
  • Serve as a critical technical expert providing insight into military ground vehicles, including powertrain, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems in support of predictive maintenance efforts.
  • Collaborate with engineers, AI developers, and data scientists to integrate vehicle subject matter expertise into advanced Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) tools.
  • Support planning and execution of vehicle maintenance strategies, leveraging Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and CBM+ principles.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for field service coordination and escalate issues or delays as needed.
  • Understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) principles and practices. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Experience with technical documentation and reporting.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, OR associate's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience OR High school diploma and 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience accepted in lieu of formal degree.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance is required. Contract requires US citizenship.
  • Must be able to travel as required by the contract.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills.
  • Proven experience with technical documentation, maintenance planning, and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and technical acumen.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Prior military service or experience working with military ground vehicles in a DoD environment.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in vehicle maintenance and diagnostics.
  • Experience as a military vehicle maintenance officer or senior non-commissioned officer (NCO).

Scheduled Weekly Hours:
  • 40 hours/week
