Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Supply Planning Advisor to handle the replenishment of finished goods across the supply network in our local markets. This role ensures the right finished goods' stock is in the right place at the right time to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and supply chain efficiency. It includes optimizing production planning to ensure efficient capacity utilization and making sure raw materials are delivered on time to support production schedules, as well as aligning supply and demand to meet service, cost, and inventory targets.

The Supply Planning Advisor will ensure medium to long term network capacity is available, and be a key person in facilitating constraints resolution in network capacity, as well as track Capacity: Demand (C:D) ratio, to ensure medium to long term production capacity and of raw materials for our manufacturing assets, production and raw material capacity, working with multiple teams across the Global Supply Chain function (such as Deployment Planners, Material Requirement Planning, Procurement, Supply Planning Delivery Managers in the markets, and the S&OP Manager) to ensure that production and raw material capacity is modelled for the regional Sales & Operating Planning (S&OP) process, by using Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP).

What you will deliver

Supply Replenishment Planning

  • Support the implementation of Finished Good supply replenishment plans to balance supply and demand across regional warehouses and stocking points in our regions, and ensure appropriate demand is placed on our manufacturing and source sites using our Planning tool.
  • Support short-term Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) and deployment planners in facilitating resolution of any short-term constraints.
  • Lead the regional process for finished goods stock allocation, based on forecasted demand, service level targets, and inventory policies.
  • Own and ensure appropriate planning data is updated in line with global planning governance requirements (lead times, service levels, replenishment parameters).

Production Planning

  • Develop and handle mid-to-long-term production plans across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
  • Identify medium to long term constraints by carrying out Robust Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP), to feed the monthly Supply Review conducted by the S&OP Manager.
  • Work with Regional Supply Delivery Leads and MPS or equivalent experience planners to identify mitigations and options to resolve capacity bottlenecks, raw material shortages, and demand fluctuations.
  • Manufacturing, Procurement and other teams to gather and maintain (e.g. batch sizes, proven and theoretical capacity, cycle times, calendars).

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Ensure inventory availability while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence.
  • Identify and mitigate risks such as stockouts, overstocking, and supply constraints.
  • Collaborate with Deployment and Production Planners, Procurement, and Supply Planning Delivery in the market to ensure seamless product flow.

Collaboration & Partner Management

  • Work closely with the Supply Planning Delivery lead, MRP planners, Procurement and plant teams to align production and replenishment strategies with business objectives (e.g. Make to order, make to stock)
  • Support the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes by working closely with S&OE Planning Delivery Leads, and S&OP Manager, providing insights and recommendations to resolve supply constraints and deliver improved availability balanced against cost and inventory

Systems & Reporting

  • Apply our end-to-end planning tool to implement rough Cut Capacity Planning and Raw Material net requirements for medium to long-term using Scenario functionality to explore "what if" options to improve service and availability balanced against cost and inventory
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators (critical metrics) including plan and schedule adherence, capacity utilisation and availability.
  • Support digital process improvements to improve production accuracy and optimal inventory.

What you will need to be successful

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

Experience: 5 to 8 years in supply planning, replenishment, or inventory management within FMCG or manufacturing industries.

  • Proven experience in Supply Planning using an advanced digital Planning tool.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in supply chain software (Kinaxis desirable) and ERP systems (SAP ECC, S4 Hana)
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to effectively work with multiple collaborators across the global supply chain function in India and other countries.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic, global and fast-paced environment.
