Gas Service Specialist I/II
Salary Range: $49,836.80 - $82,721.60

Job Duties:
Greenville Utilities has a position available, under general direction, to perform technical skilled service work on natural gas infrastructure. Duties include, but are not limited to, performing service calls, including after hours on Stand-by; restoring/discontinuing natural gas service; lighting customer's pilots; performing leak investigations inside/outside of customer homes; repairing leaks on above ground/ below ground piping operating at a pressure up to 60 psi; preparing and completing service requests/work orders, as needed, to document field activities; and performing monthly and annual maintenance duties on equipment, instruments, and gas piping facilities as required by the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration's minimum Federal Safety Standards, as well as, GUC's Operations and Maintenance Plan.

Gas Service Specialist I
Anticipated Hiring Range: $49,836.80 - $63,564.80

Minimum Requirements

• Valid NC Driver's License
• High School Diploma/GED
• Over one years' experience in gas pipeline and/or service construction
• Safety-Oriented

Gas Service Specialist II
Anticipated Hiring Range: $53,372.80 - $68,057.60

Minimum Requirements

• Valid NC Driver's License
• High School Diploma/GED
• Over three years' experience in gas pipeline and/or service construction
• Safety-Oriented

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
