This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will act as a vital link between engineering, project management and production teams, working on smaller and more complex customer projects where materials for production are maintained in SAP. Each day, you will coordinate and execute tasks essential to ensuring material structures and processes are correctly set up in SAP to support efficient production and shipment processes.

The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid.

This role is contributing to the Engineering Team Modernization in Switzerland. Main stakeholders include Engineering, Production, and Project Management.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Developing and maintaining material structures and parts lists in collaboration with Engineering and Production Planning, including transferring data from XLS material lists into SAP and ensuring accurate updates.
• Managing the creation and modification of material master data, such as change numbers, project-specific parts lists, and GWG product profiles in SAP (e.g., using transactions CS62/CU50).
• Coordinating with production planning to establish project structures in SAP and supporting processes such as dissolving parts lists for shipment preparation, material ordering, and creation of production orders (FAUF).
• Supporting export control compliance and classification of production materials, including handling material imports and export documentation.

You will join a highly collaborative and technically skilled team of 18 people, where you will be able to thrive on complex customer projects.

Qualifications for the role

• You have a commercial background with technical know-how, or a technical background complemented by further education in commercial topics.
• You possess good knowledge of SAP (ERP2).
• You are fluent in German, and you have a good command of English.
• You understand production processes and have insight into how material ordering and structures relate to the creation of a FAUF (Fertigungsauftrag / production order) in production.
• You possess an understanding of export control processes and shipment procedures.
• You are motivated to work precisely and communicating effectively across departments.
