This Position reports to:
Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support our Marine Systems Service sales team and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation. This role is located in Vuosaari , Helsinki.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Marine Systems Service business , consisting of ABB installed base modernization projects as well as hybrid/zero emission retrofit offering .

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers , both internal and external, in the maritime industry

• Performing analytic s and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries

• Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems; and ensuring achievement of targets on orders and Net Promoter Score (NPS)

• Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled and enjoy working with marine electrical systems and in the marine industry in general

• At least a few years of experience in an electrical engineering sales support role in the marine industry

• Possess enhanced knowledge of marine automati on and take pride in ensuring tasks are completed accurately

• M . Sc d egree in electrical or automation en gineering

• You are comfortable communicating in English and Finnish

• You hold current work permit in Finland and live in Finland
