  • Provide Operational support as required to both Bilfinger & Client, Onshore & Offshore personnel Inc. Project Engineers, Wages, Commercial, HSEQ, T&C & HR
  • To act as the focal point for all company activities associated with the implementation of Inspection, maintenance, engineering and project support to ensure that all Client and Company's operational, commercial and HSEQ expectations and targets are met.
  • Plan and monitor the contract budgets and costs under your direct control
  • Raise/Review/approve CTR's for all contract activities as required
  • Ensure that all Contract and client expectations are delivered, identifying & reacting to shortfalls in customer service
  • Assist Inspection Technical Manager / Inspection Operations Manager when required
  • Manage and monitor the selection and requisition of all plant, equipment and materials on the contract.
  • Communicate the progress, variations and costs of the contract to the customer and company management and suggest improvements and efficiencies
  • Provide commercial and contractual support to Commercial coordinator/analysts as and when required
  • Supports commercial and finance departments in the preparation of valuations and invoices and the resolution of commercial disputes.
  • Cultivate and develop good customer relations, following customers' enquiries and demands promptly
  • Plan, and monitor the requisition and expedition of all resource requirements including material, equipment and personnel (including subcontractor services).
  • Ensure co-ordination of shipments to worksite through logistics department.
  • Liaise with the HR Team to assist in the recruitment, induction and deployment of personnel.
  • Undertake assessments of team members using appropriate standards of competence
  • Ensure that all appraisals are conducted for all staff / operatives / supervision under his control in accordance with company requirements
  • Communicate team goals and promote high standards of workmanship and customer service.
  • Monitor all activities to ensure compliance with relevant HSEQ Procedures, cost and schedule control.
  • Liaise with client's engineers both on and offshore to gain knowledge of future projects.
  • Ensure that all plant and equipment under his control is maintained in a safe working.
  • Attend any client facing project kick-off meetings
  • Prepares project status reports as per company and client requirements.
  • Carry out management visits, management audits and technical audits as required.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in working in Oil and Gas offshore environment
  • Experience in Management of teams related to in-service inspection/FM/Engineering delivery
  • Experience of inspection related activities including Integrity, NDT and ANDT
  • The position holder desirable to have a working knowledge of British, European and International Standards relative to Safety, Environment & Quality.
  • Proficient understanding of SAP or similar
  • Industry Company and Client specific training / safety critical requirements as per Recruitment Procedure BMS-HR-REC-VRO-V01
  • Minimum of 2 Highers / Advanced Highers / A levels or equivalent.
  • OPITO and MIST Offshore Safety Training desirable
  • Position holder must have the potential to advance/progress to a higher level of management, desirable.
