We are currently seeking a Head of Procurement UKOC, reporting directly to Operations Director to lead our Procurement team based in our London and Milton Keynes offices. This is a key leadership position within the UK operations helping to drive and strategically position Technip Energies within the UK Energy Transition market.

About the mission we offer you:

The Head of Procurement UKOC would be responsible for managing sourcing and procurement activities including indirect procuirement within Technip Energies UK Operating Centre (UKOC)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure strict adherence to the Groups procedures, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Define and maintain updated procurement programs and procedures in accordance with Group policies and local requirements.
  • Hire, train, and develop skilled resources for project execution within the Operating Centre.
  • Coordinate across procurement disciplines, including both direct and indirect purchasing.
  • Inform and seek recommendations from Category Managers.
  • Monitor global market trends and recommend necessary adjustments to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with PPM within and outside of UKOC to represent the most equitable solutions for the company.
  • Support teams in evaluating complex contractual situations, including penalties, liquidated damages, deviations to contractual terms, and bankruptcy cases.
  • Establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with vendors, enhancing the companys reputation.
  • Define training and career plans for the talent pool.
  • Evaluate workload and implement a hiring plan in line with P&C processes.
  • Assess organizational efficiency and work environment, ensuring team well-being.


About you:

Qualifications and skills:
  • Master's degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent
  • Holder of MCIPS
  • Proven experience in procurement management.
  • Strong understanding of procurement procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and adjust policies accordingly.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle complex contractual situations.


Languages:
  • Required English (Fluent)
  • Beneficial French (Basic Fluent)


Mobility
  • Individual would be expected to be based from either London or Milton Keynes office with travel to other location required.
