Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Proficient in SolidWorks 3D modeling, able to efficiently convert 2D drawings into 3D models.
- Design Kitting bins for line-side picking based on fastener lists in the BOM.
- After completing process training, produce standardized work instructions (SOPs) following the company template.
- Extend the production-line QR-code traceability system-replicate the full functionality from Line A to Line B.
Qualifications for the role
- English: CET-6 or equivalent; able to read and write technical documents in English fluently
- Education: Master's student or final-year undergraduate (senior)
- Major: Mechanical Engineering preferred; Industrial Automation or related disciplines acceptable
