Program Summary
The KBR PSAB Program provides comprehensive BASE OPERATING SUPPORT-INSTALLATION (BOS-I) services at Prince Sultan Air Base (PSAB) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). These services are delivered to support the 378 Air Expeditionary Wing (AEW), mission partners, and tenant units, encompassing a diverse range of personnel including transient, temporary duty (TDY), permanent party, and rotational personnel. Additionally, the program extends its services to encompass five (5) remote Army sites within PSAB. This program ensures the seamless functioning of operations, maintenance, and support activities essential for the sustained mission readiness and operational effectiveness of PSAB and its associated units.
Job Summary
The Cargo Handler In/Out at Prince Sultan Air Base (PSAB) will be responsible for cargo loading/unloading, transportation, manifesting, palletizing, HAZMAT documentation, and storage. The ideal candidate must possess a clear understanding of tracking and tracing systems such as CMOS (Cargo Movement Operations System) and GATES (Global Air Transportation Execution System), which are essential for maintaining In-Transit Visibility of all properly shipped cargo and passenger flights throughout the Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Job Summary
The Cargo Handler In/Out at Prince Sultan Air Base (PSAB) will be responsible for cargo loading/unloading, transportation, manifesting, palletizing, HAZMAT documentation, and storage. The ideal candidate must possess a clear understanding of tracking and tracing systems such as CMOS (Cargo Movement Operations System) and GATES (Global Air Transportation Execution System), which are essential for maintaining In-Transit Visibility of all properly shipped cargo and passenger flights throughout the Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Roles and Responsibilities
- Working knowledge of JMRs (Joint Movement Requests), AMRs (Air Movement Requests), SMRs (Surface Movement Requests), and the ITARS system.
- Proficient in passenger manifesting procedures, including hijack briefings, amnesty protocol, passenger prioritization, emergency leave, and Distinguished Visitor (DV) handling.
- Capable of assisting with or independently creating Load Plans as needed.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal communication and telephone skills.
- Must maintain strict adherence to COMSEC (Communication Security), OPSEC (Operational Security), and COMPUSEC (Computer Security) protocols.
- Supervises the work of Foremen and laborers; may be required to perform additional job-related duties as directed by mission requirements.
Material & Equipment Directly Used
- May be exposed to hazardous environments requiring use of PPE such as hard hats, gloves, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
- May be required to push, pull, and lift heavy equipment.
- Use of communication and computing devices including land mobile radios, cell phones, laptops, and other electronic equipment to maintain work coordination and accountability.
Working Environment
- Work will be performed in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- Possible exposure to environmental elements including extreme heat or cold, dust, noise, and chemicals.
- Overtime and shift work may be required based on contract demands.
- Occasional to frequent travel may be necessary.
- Must comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and company regulations and guidelines.
- Task-specific training on work environment may be provided.
- Must be prepared to operate in a wartime or contingency environment in support of U.S. military interests.
Physical Activities
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs independently and team-lift up to 50 lbs.
- Tasks may involve climbing, prolonged sitting or standing, stooping, stretching, and bending.
- May be required to wear PPE such as hearing and eye protection, hard hats, steel-toed boots, and full Individual Protective Equipment (IPE), including ballistic vests and helmets.
- Day-to-day activities may include extended periods of desk work, attending meetings, and repetitive use of keyboard and mouse.
- Moderate physical activity required, including walking between work areas and climbing stairs.

Basic Qualifications
- Prior military experience required.
- Minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current, valid U.S. passport and driver's license.
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. SECRET security clearance.
- Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Must meet CENTCOM theater requirements.
Military Occupational Specialties
- Experience as a 2T2X1 (Air Force - Air Transportation) or 88H (U.S. Army - Cargo Specialist).
Certifications
- Hazardous Material certification and 1387-2 documentation certified.
- Certified in surface, air, and sea freight movements and customs documentation for duty-free shipments.
Skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills; proactive and results-driven team player.
- Capable of working extended hours to meet mission requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Familiar with contingency operations and experienced in working with government contracts.
