The Sales Education and Content Development Manager IV will lead strategy and implementation of training department for Rheem Commercial HVAC business. Collaboratively work with a team to provide and maintain all training materials, in-class and online curriculum, and conduct training at Innovation Learning Centers (ILCs), factory and customer locations as necessary. This includes responsibility for developing content related to product/technical training and business/programs training. Work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure consistency and up-to-date materials. Ensure consistent, high quality customer experience during training events and maintains lab products, tools and resources for learners and internal stakeholders.
This position will serve our Air Conditioning Division and Commercial HVAC business, located in Lewisville, TX.

This position will serve our Air Conditioning Division and Commercial HVAC business, located in Lewisville, TX.
Responsibilities
- Develop the sales and technical training strategy tailored for sales and service teams at Rheem and channel partners, as well as specifying engineers and contractors.
- Managing educational visits to our ILC and manufacturing locations, supporting all training functions related to Commercial HVAC business.
- Work closely with the entire marketing team, product team, sales team, R&D team, engineering, field and technical support and key customers in developing and executing training programs that resonate with stakeholders. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is critical for success in the role.
- Collaborate with training leaders and teams from other Rheem business units to identify synergies and promote cross-learning.
- Align training team's strategies to Rheem's business goals and provide clear roadmap of curriculum development and implementation plans. Provide guidance to the organization for both technical and business training best practices.
- Champion Rheem Manufacturing's sustainability training goals and liaise with enterprise team and cross-divisional peers to ensure we train industry stakeholders on sustainable practices and products.
- Create engaging, interactive training materials for various customer segments. New curriculum will include incorporating Rheem's brand values, our commitment to sustainability goals and our selling propositions into technical and business training material.
- Responsible for supporting all new product launches with sales, product, and technical training including service manuals. Engage with cross-functional team members in the development of product and support tools, as requested.
- Expand digital learning opportunities with course development offered through Rheem Academy, Ruud University, and Sure Comfort College LMS platforms while creating education programs that will generate operating revenue, where appropriate, for the education department.
- Manage departmental budget and ensure compliance with organizational and team processes.
- Support customer events, tradeshows and media opportunities as requested. Conduct training as needed at Rheem or customer locations throughout North America.
- Develop and support a network of trainers within Rheem and at the 120+ Distributor locations who support and supplement the Education department.
- Optimize training tactics by incorporating mobile tools and video, cutting edge technologies, and new learning mechanisms to continuously enhance Rheem's training portfolio and delivery mechanisms.
- Establish and report comprehensive metrics to monitor training program progress and make adjustments to strategy to deliver results.
- Select and manage vendors ensuring alignment with brand standards, goals and budgetary expectations.
- Conduct regular meetings to review updates on training and content development efforts, upcoming projects, budgets, ILC utilization and training calendars.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field (Engineering, Marketing, Business) preferred
- 7+ years' experience in business and/or product training
- Experience in HVACR industry with working product/application knowledge
- Experience with classroom & online curriculum design
- Supervisory experience
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite or Adobe Creative Suites
- Evidence of advanced writing composition skills and proficiency in public presentation, creative development, and expression of complex data in simple terms is required.
- Strong human relations and team building skills are required.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize a variety of projects, and lead a small team of trainers and content developers.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
