G eo temps, Inc is seeking experienced d riller s (RC and Core) to work throughout northern Nevada. The position s will also include performing mechanical maintenance on the drill rig, when necessary. This is a temp-to-hire position for the right candidate s.

The position would require travel to various locations throughout Northern Nevada .

Requirements / Job Duties

• Must have experience operating a reverse circulation drill rig or core drilling, as well as mechanical maintenance experience with drill rigs or other heavy equipment.
• Moving, positioning , setting up , and operating of the drill and all associated equipment at each drill site.
• Perform daily checks on all equipment to ensure that they have the proper and correct safety guards in place, with particular attention to the compressor hoses and couplings.
• Ensuring all drill equipment, compressors/boosters , and tools are kept clean, dust free , and in good working order.
• Ensuring that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn correctly by all members of the drill crew and any other person ne l that are on the drill site.
• Maintaining clear communication between team members, drill crews and other site personnel.
• Daily check of drill site ensuring that all equipment is correctly and properly stored, and all equipment/materials are removed from the drill site at the completion of a drill program.
• Must have an excellent safety record, and ability to ensure that safety protocols on site are being followed.
• Able to successfully complete Background Check, and Drug Screen.

Physical Demands

• This position requires that the employee be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 80lbs. Also required for this position is the routine, extended and repetitive use of the hands to feel (temperature, texture, etc.), finger (pinch, type) and grasp.
• The employee will need to be able to maintain balance, bend, reach, twist/turn, walk on even/uneven surfaces, hike with moderate exertion as well as sit and stand for extended periods of time.

Environment

T h e position s require s surface MSHA. The employee may be working in inclement weather conditions; occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat. Additional exposures include loud noises, vibration, fumes, odors, dusts or mists, moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current and exposure to chemicals.

Payrate is $3 2 .00 per hour and up DOE. 12 hour shifts , 7 days on, 7 days off. Rotating days to nights.
