Job Title: Translator – Arabic & English

Working Pattern: Full-time, Sunday to Thursday

Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Translator with fluency in both Arabic and English to support a large technical organisation in Qatar. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating technical and non-technical documents, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of content across departments including Engineering, Procurement, and Projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a language specialist with experience in an engineering or technical environment who is looking to contribute to high-value, cross-functional projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate official documents, reports, memos, and technical correspondence from Arabic to English and vice versa

• Ensure high-quality, accurate translations with attention to technical language and industry terminology

• Liaise with various departments to clarify and confirm translation requirements

• Edit, revise, proofread, and format all translated materials before submission

• Maintain confidentiality and ensure consistency in tone, context, and content across translations

• Support document management through structured filing and version control

• Stay up to date with translation tools and software to improve productivity

• Ensure timely delivery of translation tasks according to departmental needs

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline

• Excellent written and verbal command of both Arabic and English

• Minimum of 10 years' professional translation experience

• At least 5 years of experience working within an engineering or technical organisation

• In-depth familiarity with engineering and procurement terminology

• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines

• Confident working both independently and within multidisciplinary teams
