The Procurement Lead will be responsible for managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and developing sourcing strategies for key purchasing categories.

Function description

This role will play a critical part in achieving efficiencies, mitigating supply risks, and driving cost savings across our operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic work environment, splitting their time between our corporate office and terminal operations to stay closely aligned with internal departments and procurement needs. After an initial 90-day training period, one remote workday per week will be available.

What You'll Do:

• Manage and execute the procurement plan for strategic goods and services.
• Develop and implement category sourcing strategies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply risks.
• Analyze and manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Ensure efficient and compliant procurement processes using SAP or other ERP systems.
• Provide expert procurement guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Lead competitive bid and tender processes.
• Conduct procurement audits and prepare reports.
• Support contract negotiations and risk assessments.
• Maintain compliance with Procurement Policy, Tender Procedures, and Finance Policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Professional certification in purchasing or supply chain preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, eProcurement, Spend Analysis, and Contract Management.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
