Join a team shaping NOV's digital transformation strategy. As a SharePoint Power Platform Developer, you will design, build, and maintain business-critical solutions across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and SharePoint Online. You'll lead efforts to modernize and automate workflows, enhance collaboration, and drive efficiency through intuitive digital experiences.
This role also includes responsibilities for administering and enforcing Power Platform governance using Microsoft's Center of Excellence (CoE) toolkit. As adoption grows, you'll collaborate with stakeholders across IT, compliance, and business units to ensure platform usage aligns with enterprise standards and enables scalable citizen development.
Build scalable solutions that empower teams across NOV to work smarter and faster. From developing advanced SharePoint and Power Apps solutions to automating key processes using Power Automate and Azure Runbooks, your work will transform business operations. You'll guide stakeholders through requirement gathering and technical implementation, serve as a subject matter expert in Power Platform and SharePoint, and lead enablement efforts to help users adopt and evolve with the technology.
At the same time, you will support governance practices to ensure platform growth is secure, sustainable, and well-monitored. Using CoE dashboards and Power Platform Admin Center tools, you'll provide visibility into tenant activity and help shape policy enforcement, onboarding, and best practices.

What You'll Do:
Power Platform and SharePoint Development
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable SharePoint Online solutions, including SPFx web parts, content types, modern search, and site templates
- Build reusable front-end components using HTML, TypeScript, React, and Fluent UI
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, Dataverse, and third-party systems
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Automate business processes using Power Automate, Azure Runbooks, and Nintex
- Create comprehensive technical documentation and functional design documents
- Provide user training and solution demonstrations
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing solutions
- Support testing and debugging of custom solutions and components
Governance & Administration
- Administer tenant-level Power Platform settings, including environment provisioning, security roles, permissions, and capacity alerts
- Implement and manage tenant and environment-level Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
- Define and enforce environment strategy, including naming conventions, Dev/Test/Prod lifecycles, and clean-up policies
- Use CoE Starter Kit telemetry and dashboards to monitor platform usage, orphaned apps, connectors, and maker trends
- Apply platform-wide standards for security, ownership, lifecycle management, and documentation
- Collaborate with NOV's licensing and finance teams to provide strategic input around Power Platform licensing, premium feature usage, and consumption trends
- Assist in license utilization analysis by sharing insights from CoE dashboards and usage reports
Center of Excellence Enablement
- Maintain and enhance the CoE Starter Kit, enabling governance automation, user onboarding flows, and analytics via Power BI
- Support structured application lifecycle (Dev→Test→Prod) with gated solution promotion workflows and reviews
- Train and support makers with onboarding, documentation, best practices, and reusable templates
- Participate in Power Platform Governance Board to shape strategic direction and evaluate policy exceptions
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience developing SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions using SPFx, React, and modern development practices
- 4+ years of experience administering Power Platform and Microsoft 365 environments at enterprise scale
- Proven ability to automate and streamline business processes using Power Automate, Azure Runbooks, or Nintex
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and front-end frameworks such as React and Fluent UI
- Experience supporting lifecycle management and governance of SharePoint- and Power Platform-based applications
- Proficiency in Power Platform Admin Center, PowerShell scripting, and Power Automate administration
- Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining the CoE Starter Kit and CoE Power BI dashboards
- Experience with environment lifecycle management and ALM concepts
- Familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Microsoft Graph, Office 365 APIs, and Azure integration
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs
- Required certifications: PL-600, PL-400, SC-400
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD for Power Platform solutions using Azure DevOps or GitHub
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 compliance configurations
- Experience mentoring citizen developers and supporting community enablement
- Familiarity with Power Platform Build Tools and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- Background in supporting or leading CoE implementations or governance programs
