The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Department within Vestas' Onshore Construction division is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of safety, environmental stewardship, and health management throughout the lifecycle of onshore wind power projects. The department plays a vital role in supporting Vestas' mission to deliver sustainable energy solutions while protecting people, assets, and the environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective project HSE support
• Provide effective project construction leadership and support in all HSE matters
• Ensure compliance of HSE systems and processes at project sites.
• Ensure compliance with statutory legislation for Workplace, Health, Safety and Environment (WHSE)
• Coordinate and assist in the conduct of site inspections
• Provide project leadership team HSE reports as requested
• Ensure compliance with HSE training within the project
• Implement project HSE documentation
• Develop and maintain a professional relationship with contractors, clients and other stakeholders
• Ensure all work carried out complies with Vestas Health, Safety and Environment requirements in accordance with Vestas

Qualifications

• OHS/WHS qualification (minimum)
• NEBOSH qualification
• Cert IV Training and Assessment

• Demonstrate commitment to Safety at all times
• Demonstrate commitment to Environment and Sustainability at all times
• Provide effective coaching and training for the Project team to meet local HSE targets and objectives
• Demonstrate visible leadership
• Ensure a safe workplace and report all hazards and incidents immediately
• Comply with all site health, safety and environment policies and procedures
• Ensure all HSE policies and procedures are followed
• Ensure incidents are immediately reported and appropriate actions taken in accordance with Vestas HSE procedures
• Ensure all documentation is fully and accurately completed in a timely manner
• Advise and support Construction Management team in meeting all HSE requirements
• Ensure HSE reports are accurate and provided in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with Vestas Incident Management System
