As a Senior Project Scheduler - Nuclear Projects, you will be:
Responsibilities
- Schedule project activities (date, time, sequence) for the Nuclear or Engineering Projects organizations. Perform schedule maintenance between Passport and Primavera scheduling tools. Assist various project managers in developing schedules for on-line, outage projects and life-cycle schedules, including Enterprise Risk projects. This includes development of detailed plans/schedules, resolving conflicts with schedule adherence and the development of out-year schedules for various size projects. The purpose of this position is to deliver a timely, coherent, comprehensive and accurate set of schedules to the site for daily, on-line and outage work periods.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 8 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering or technical project management: OR,Associates degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 10 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering or technical project management: OR,High school diploma or GED and 12 years of nuclear power generation experience in a journey level craft, qualified watch station, field engineer or Quality Control position within operations, maintenance, engineering, or quality assurance.
Desired Education and Experience
- 1. SRO License or Certification
- 2. Individual must have advanced knowledge in work management and outage work processes and procedures.
- 3. Advanced knowledge of the Passport program and database, including the interface to the Primavera scheduling program.
- 4. Advanced knowledge of the Primavera scheduling program and basic scheduling techniques.
- a. Primavera 106 Training Certification or four years of experience using Primavera Scheduling software.
- 5. Working knowledge of report development software (Crystal Reports) and database analysis.
- 6. Working knowledge of the outage risk management and on-line risk management software (Paragon).
- 7. PMP certification.
- 8. Working knowledge of management techniques (e.g., situational leadership, performance management, time management, etc.).
Required abilities and skills
- Advanced knowledge of the Primavera scheduling program and basic scheduling techniques.

Desired abilities and skills - 1. Ability to work with teams, disciplines, and other plant organizations to develop integrated plant schedules. Ability to direct resources and establish priorities for schedule activities.
- 2. Ability to solve complex problems while minimizing schedule conflicts.
- 3. Effective communication skills and ability to communicate technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing.
- 4. Coordinate with Operations to determine the scope of tagging system boundaries and conduct critical path analysis of schedules.
- 5. Lead schedule review meetings and the interface between work groups.
- 6. Lead post work critiques.
- 7. Demonstrated ability to maximize performance through leadership is highly desired.
- 8. Crystal report writing or similar SQL based query reports.
- Pay Rate: $77 to $82 per hour.
