Piper Companies is looking for a HVAC Mechanic to join an Air Conditioning contracting company with locations throughout the east coast. This is a direct hire role based out of Savannah, GA.

Essential Duties of theHVAC Mechanic:

• Working knowledge of all mechanical systems including trouble shooting, repair and maintain complex mechanical air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment
• Ability to work on the following equipment brands: Trane, Carrier, York, and Daikin Centrifugal, Reciprocating, Screw and Scroll Chillers
• Ability to retrofit systems with support of others. Have a basic understanding of sheet metal and piping concepts
• Have working knowledge of schematic reading

Qualifications of the HVAC Mechanic:

• 3-5 years of professional experience in the field working on chiller equipment
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook

Compensation for theHVAC Mechanic:

• $100,000 - $130,000 (based on experience)
