As a Senior Quality Manager, you will oversee the implementation and execution of Quality programs throughout the factory. You'll collaborate across functions to ensure compliance, operational performance, and a culture of accountability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development and execution of quality strategies aligned with business goals.

• Identify and implement ways of working that make quality first a shared mindset and a way of life.

• End to end quality responsibility: supplier, manufacturing, and customer satisfaction.

• Lead and Execute process improvement projects to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality at the factory.

• Support the correct use and execution of the Quality Management System at the factory including the tracking of quality events.

• Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action for quality events.

• Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of procedures and policies to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards, and oversee audit readiness and execution.

• Serve as general quality resource and advisor to project and operations teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.

• Monitor both external and internal metrics to further advance initiatives and projects to improve quality as a competitive advantage.

• Manage quality budgets and ensure effective resource utilization.

• Review necessary documents to ensure compliance with contract documents.

• Perform inspections and witness tests applicable to discipline to determine acceptance of work.

• Conduct internal/external quality control assessments and coach teams on quality best practices.

• Oversee quality document management including inspection records, performance records, and findings to create reports for leadership and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM related field required.

• 5-8 years of experience in quality leadership roles within industrial, construction, or manufacturing settings.

• At least 5 years of experience in team management and engaging with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Nice-to-have certifications: ASQ CMQ/OE, CQE, CQPA, ISO 9001 QMS Lead Auditor.

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.

• Recognized ability to guide cultural evolution and implement quality strategies across multiple regions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP or ERP system familiarity are trainable skills.

• Skilled communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work effectively and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.

• Build, coach, and lead a team of quality professionals.

• Deliver quality training programs to enhance functional and technical competencies across teams.

• Engage with service site managers and technicians through site visits, walkdowns, and collaboration forums.

• Represent Vestas in quality matters with customers, regulatory agencies, and other key stakeholders.

Incident Response & Continuous Improvement

• Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues, defects, or non-conformance, and partner with project teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions plans.

• Monitor incident trends and use insights to guide action planning and risk mitigation strategies.

• Cultivate a culture of transparency, learning, and continuous improvement across the region.

Operational Integration

• Integrate quality processes into daily operations and ensure consistent use of Vestas standards and systems.

• Track key quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on quality performance.

• Provide input on business decisions that impact quality outcomes.

• Support regional and global initiatives and share best practices across factories
