The Latin America (LATAM) Finance Business Performance Management (BPM) team are finance business partners to our LATAM Regional Sales, Construction, and Service operations. We are an internationally diverse team, physically located in multiple countries across the region. Together with our primary operational stakeholders, we focus on Performance Management, Business Finance, Business Controlling and Finance Business Partnering.
The Service Finance team partners closely with Service Operations. As a Service Controller for LAT-South, you will be based in São Paulo, BR, reporting to the Director of BPM Service Finance Latam, located in São Paulo, BR. Your primary operational stakeholders will also be in Brazil.
In the role of Finance Business Partner for Brazil, you will be an essential contributor to our team of financial specialists, addressing complex issues and working closely with various departments to discover areas for enhancement, apply best practices, and guarantee alignment with our overarching business objectives. You will also execute relevant controlling and finance processes related to Service Contracts in Brazil.
Responsibilities
You will be the Finance Business Partner to the LATAM Services team. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Execute the monthly financial service controlling activities and processes for Brazil Service contracts, in accordance with the defined Vestas Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making. Monthly, consolidate and analyse Brazil Service P&L results versus budget & prior month forecast.
• Act as a liaison between finance, sales, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Estimate the potential risks & opportunities to ensure proper forecasting and decision making.
• Efficiently engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders, to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality.
• Analyse and optimize processes to improve business efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and management reports as required.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure their needs are met.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Qualifications
At least 6 years relevant experience with accounting & cost controlling (project/contract experience), P&L analysis, and business performance management.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• Previous experiences in Wind energy is valued
• Experience with systems including MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) required and SAP, SAP BI, SAP BPC experience is beneficial
• Both spoken and written English, the official language of Vestas, is required. Portuguese, Spanish and Danish proficiencies are appreciated.
• Flexibility and motivation, travel is not expected for this role but may be required for ad hoc tasks
