Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Power Generator, The Power Generation Rental Specialist is responsible for generating income by renting Electric Power Generation equipment and also selling identified Used Equipment inventory to all customers in an assigned territory. Duties include achieving rental sales and growth initiatives, travelling throughout territory to call on regular and prospective customers, effectively collaborating with customers on specific equipment solutions, assuring all equipment deliveries meet the conditions of the rental agreement and monitoring customer satisfaction. A relevant college degree or equivalent industry experience is desired. Minimum of two years' sales experience preferred.

Essential Functions
- Self-starter is able to work with limited supervision; capable of creating sound business/territory management plans, setting priorities, and implementing ideas in a timely manner.
- High mechanical aptitude required; must understand job situations and project conditions to suggest products best suited for customers.
- Provide temporary portable power solutions to Commercial, Industrial, Oil and Gas, and seasonal customers.
- Maintain current customer relationships and develop new customers in order to obtain or surpass the yearly revenue budgets in line with company procedures and targets.
- Support existing regional sales teams with product and application guidance, as well as training when needed.
- Create and execute an annual territory sales plan, account management, cold calling, presentation development and delivery, closing deals, working with operations teams to ensure customer needs are met.
- Coordinate with the appropriate branch office to prepare sales contracts, other documentation, and/or collection for orders and projects.
- Records daily and weekly activities, quotations and sales funnel monitoring in the CRM system.
- Able to quote prices and credit terms, negotiate deals and prepare appropriate paperwork for orders.
- Excellent customer satisfaction skills and the ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
- Strong PC skills and the ability to self-develop and adapt to changing technology.
- Maintains a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc's health and safety guidelines and promotes a safety culture.
- Clean driving record and a valid driver's license required; capable of operating equipment for demonstration purposes.
- Willing to travel and work hours required by the job and customer demand.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Education
- Bachelor's or Technical degree or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred.
Experience
- 2-5 years sales experience in a Power Generation/Rental Industry preferred.
