Role Overview:

The GE Aerospace OWS Doha Office Manager is responsible for providing administrative and general support to the Regional Business Leader and OWS Team at the Site. Primarily this role will ensure the smooth and efficient running of administrative and other tasks to support business operations.

Required Qualifications:
  • First point of contact supporting the Regional Business Leader & Global GM.
  • Drafting of correspondence for signature by the Regional Business Leader and Global GM.
  • Liaise with a wide range of internal and external contacts, including customers, government agencies and other senior executives within GE.
  • Initiation and support to the Visa process for employees travelling for work tasks
  • Management of Airside access for all OWS staff at regional airports & freezones
  • Management of local customer passes and tool passes for all OWS Staff
  • Raising Purchase Requisitions for non-product related orders, and management of the billing and receiving process.
  • Responsible for indirect purchases (Local or Online)
  • Alert the Regional Business Leader and Global GM to upcoming deadlines and ongoing commitments, preparing materials and researching background information as needed.
  • Assisting with onboarding of new hires and document management for mandatory information.
  • Event management for Business conferences, regional meetings and engagement events.
  • General office supplies and facilities management to support OWS support staff.
  • Maintaining trackers for training, visas, passes, organization charts, etc. to ensure all staff remain current in accordance with non-technical policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Sound project and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to use initiative, solve problems and implement improvements in the workplace.
  • Fluent speaking and Writing in Arabic
  • Must have a Qatari driving licence and a Car
