We are looking for a Sr. Oil & Gase Specialist in our Tulsa, OK office. This specialist will be responsible for account discrepancies, annual account reviews, researching for suspended or escheated revenue, and assisting with administration of client accounts. This individual will display development beyond an Oil and Gas Specialist in the areas of knowledge, initiative and development of others.

We are looking for a Sr. Oil & Gase Specialist in our Tulsa, OK office. This specialist will be responsible for account discrepancies, annual account reviews, researching for suspended or escheated revenue, and assisting with administration of client accounts. This individual will display development beyond an Oil and Gas Specialist in the areas of knowledge, initiative and development of others.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review accounts for discrepancies; review accounting report for missed royalty payments; and verify and update legal descriptions.
- Prepare annual account review for mineral managers, prepare purchaser notifications, research for suspended and escheated revenue, review assets for dormant mineral issues.
- Assist with projects requiring research and analysis and assists in preparing new account inventories by reviewing title documents, division orders, check stubs and other related documents.
- Notify purchasers, tax authorities, attorneys and/or interested parties of changes in account or agency status as directed by the mineral management team
- Assist Division Order and Title Analyst with review of assignments, deeds, trusts, last will and testaments, affidavit of heirships, court orders and title opinions to determine ownership of minerals
- Trains with Administration Supervisor and Mineral Managers to become well versed in the client onboarding process.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree in Energy Management, Business, or related field
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent certificate of competency and 5+ years of work experience in lieu of Associate's degree
- 5+ years of oil and gas industry experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel, Word and Power Point)
- Familiar with web-based mapping tools (i.e. ArcGIS, Drilling Info, etc)
- Ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex property legal descriptions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Continually required to sit, talk/hear and utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read a computer monitor and use a keyboard
- Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 40 pounds
