Clean Energy Research and Communications Intern
Green Energy Consumers
Green Energy Consumers Alliance is a non-profit organization that enables people to make green energy choices in the most cost-effective, practical and seamless ways possible, and to advocate for energy policies that benefit the greater good. Our energy programs offer New Englanders: information on and help making the switch to electric cars; green electricity for homes, offices, and whole communities; efficient electricity & heating; and advocacy for climate-friendly energy policy.
Green Energy Consumers Alliance is deeply committed to advancing clean energy in Rhode Island in order to meet our climate goals. However, we've seen a troubling rise in misinformation surrounding clean energy technologies. To help address this, the intern will support efforts to research the benefits of clean energy, particularly offshore wind, but also solar, energy efficiency, and battery storage, and help develop engaging, fact-based educational content. This may include videos, blogs, social media posts, webinars, op-eds, and other communications to inform the public.
