What you will do:

As we continue to grow our ENGIE GBS operations in Romania, we are looking for a Recruitment Assistant who will support our local Talent Acquisition team in delivering a high-quality and efficient recruitment process. This is a great opportunity for someone organized, proactive, and passionate about people to be part of a dynamic international environment and contribute to building a high-performing team from the ground up.

You will play a key role in coordinating recruitment activities, ensuring a smooth experience for both candidates and hiring managers, and supporting the Talent Acquisition team in operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Publish job ads on internal platforms and external job boards, in line with GBS roles and profiles
  • Perform CV screening and shortlist candidates based on pre-defined criteria
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates, across different time zones when needed
  • Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the process, ensuring timely updates and a positive experience
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and internal trackers with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist in preparing interview guides, candidate evaluation forms, offer letters, and other recruitment documents
  • Support pre-onboarding activities (document collection, welcome communications, liaison with admin team)
  • Help organize employer branding initiatives and recruitment events (e.g., job fairs, internal mobility days)
  • Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, including reporting and coordination activities
  • Collaborate with other support functions (admin, IT, finance) to ensure alignment on hiring processes


Desired education, expertise, and skills:
  • University degree or ongoing studies in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
  • Previous experience in recruitment, HR, or an administrative role is a strong plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills in English and French (written and spoken);
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Outlook and Excel); experience with an ATS is a plus
  • Positive, proactive attitude and a genuine interest in recruitment and HR
