The LNG & Gas Origination Direction is seeking a Senior LNG & Gas Originator to play a key role in the growth and strategic development of the gas business. The selected candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring, and negotiating spot, medium and long-term LNG and gas supply contracts for Edison and on behalf of EDF.

As a senior member of the Origination team, the candidate will be expected to lead commercial initiatives, build and maintain relationships with major global players in the energy sector, and contribute to the optimization of the Group's Gas/LNG portfolio through innovative and integrated supply-demand solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the identification, development, and execution of new business opportunities in the gas and LNG markets
• Establish, maintain, and strengthen commercial relationships with international counterparties.
• Negotiate and manage LNG and gas supply contracts, coordinating cross-functional input from internal teams (Gas Optimisation/Front Office, Contract Management, Finance, Legal, Shipping)
• Prepare high-level business cases and presentations for EDF and Edison senior management and investment committees
• Support internal and external reporting activities, including strategic communication to top management
• Monitor global market trends and share commercial intelligence with internal stakeholders to identify and propose new business opportunities

Candidate Profile
• Solid experience in the Energy sector, with a specific focus on LNG and gas origination
• Proven ability to operate effectively in complex and international environments
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong resilience
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to travel occasionally for international business engagements

Required Qualifications
• Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business Management

Preferred Qualifications• Knowledge of the French language
• Basic understanding of finance and investment appraisal techniques
• Previous international work, internship, or study experience
