The Latin America (LATAM) Finance Business Performance Management (BPM) team are the assigned finance business partners to our LATAM Regional Sales, Construction, and Service operations. We are an internationally diverse team, physically located in multiple countries across the region. Together with our primary operational stakeholders, we focus on Performance Management, Business Finance, Business Controlling and Finance Business Partnering.

The Service Finance team partners closely with Service Operations. As a Service Finance BP Sr. Analyst for LAT-South, you will be based in Buenos Aires, Argentina or Santiago, CL, reporting to the Director of BPM Service Finance Latam, located in São Paulo, BR. Your primary operational stakeholders will also be in Buenos Aires, AR and Santiago, CL.

As a Service Finance BP Sr. Analyst LAT-South, you'll be a key in our team of financial experts, addressing complex challenges and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, implement best practices, and ensure alignment with our business goals. You will also execute relevant controlling and finance processes related to Service Contracts in LAT-South.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute the monthly financial service controlling activities and processes for LAT-South Service contracts, in accordance with the defined Vestas Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making. Monthly, consolidate and analyse LAT-South Service P&L results versus budget & prior month forecast.
  • Act as a liaison between finance, sales, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Estimate the potential risks & opportunities to ensure proper forecasting and decision making.
  • Consistently engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders, to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality.
  • Analyze and optimize processes to improve business efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and management reports as required.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure their needs are met.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Qualifications:
  • Experience with accounting & cost controlling, P&L analysis, and business performance management.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • Advanced proficiencies in both spoken and written English, the official language of Vestas, are required.
  • Proficiencies in Englis
  • Flexibility and motivation, travel is not expected for this role but may be required for ad hoc tasks
