Akkodis is seeking a Product Owner for a contract position with a client located in the following cities: Syracuse, NY, Buffalo, NY, Albany, NY, Hicksville, NY, Northborough, MA, Waltham, MA. Interested candidates must have experience with business analysis or product owner using Salesforce/Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud. This role will aid in the migration of our client's legacy InDemand (DSM) system to state-of-the art Clean Energy 2.0 system that is being built.

Pay/Salary Range: $50-60/hour. (Based on experience and geographical location)

Product Owner job responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define and document application/system scope, requirements, and design aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead the preparation of detailed documentation and prioritization for development teams, supporting all phases of implementation and providing expert guidance throughout.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts across IT and business units to ensure successful development, testing, and deployment of solutions, while analyzing and refining system logic as needed.
  • Communicate complex technical topics effectively to diverse audiences, provide system expertise and troubleshooting support, and contribute to test strategy and validation processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of Business analysis/product experience
  • Strong experience with Salesforce / Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud
  • Understanding of CRM, sales funnels, and fulfillment workflows in Salesforce is a huge plus
  • Familiarity with JIRA/JIRA Align a plus.
