Project Engineer II (Transmission Line Designer)
We are looking for a Project Engineer II (Transmission Line Designer) to work in the transmission line engineering area, developing technical solutions and analyzing basic and executive transmission line projects.

Responsibilities:
- Develop transmission line projects;
- Analyze basic and executive projects;
- Manage technical interfaces between transmission line and substation scopes;
- Develop technical solutions and software considering socio-environmental and land use constraints;
- Prepare technical specifications for contracting materials and engineering/construction services for transmission lines;
- Manage the implementation of transmission systems to meet deadlines and technical requirements, supporting planning, analyzing and establishing monitoring strategies, conducting inspections, and quality control activities;
- Verify executed activities, ensuring payments reflect actual progress; evaluate contractual compliance for resource release or penalties in case of non-compliance; provide technical support in evaluating contractor claims; document progress and deviations to support budget goals;
- Manage the interface between contractors' designers and the owner's engineering team;
- Develop and oversee the application of procedures related to project implementation, in accordance with national and international standards, engineering best practices, and internal guidelines; participate in document control, lessons learned, and knowledge sharing;
- Support the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE), develop and evaluate procedures, participate in accident/incident investigations, and contribute to health and safety performance indicators and non-conformity management;
- Support the New Business Development Unit in prospecting or developing new business opportunities;
- Support supplier selection processes by preparing terms of reference, technical specifications, descriptive reports, and analyzing technical proposals;
- Analyze projects to ensure compliance with the Grid Procedures established by the National Electric System Operator (ONS) and requirements of accessed utilities;
- Participate in route studies and basic project evaluations to mitigate risks and meet requirements of transmission system auction notices promoted by the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL);
- Contribute to risk analysis and mitigation plans in implementation projects;
- Issue or monitor the issuance of technical documents required for environmental licensing and other necessary permits, such as approvals from IPHAN;
- Comply with and enforce external and internal Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management regulations applicable to the business, and act in accordance with the company's certification standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering;
- Intermediate knowledge in: word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, internet, email, design and graphic editing tools, project management systems, contract management;
- Experience in managing transmission system project implementation;
- Skills in project analysis, interpretation, and procedure development;
- Knowledge of PLS-CADD, Global Mapper, programming (VBA, C, Python), AutoCAD.
- Postgraduate degree in Project Management;
- Intermediate English.
